Dr. Evelyn Murray Drayton, award-winning author, is walking in her destiny. Her new work Beyond Our Scars is destined for the bestseller list as it ministers to those of us who have been hurt by broken dreams and shattered lives. Evelyn tries to be transparent as she speaks and writes about her multi-faceted experiences. Evangelist Drayton is president and founder of Evelyn Murray Drayton Ministries and also Soul Winner Ministries, incorporated. She is an excellent leader and has headed national and international ministries to help catapult them to the forefront. Her prolific words are soothing, but powerful, and have captured the hearts of many.
Sister Drayton is a graduate of Morris College in Sumter, South Carolina where she received a bachelor’s degree in Business Administration and graduated Magna Cum Laude. She also matriculated at Erskine Theological Seminary and graduated from Cathedral Bible College in Myrtle Beach, South Carolina with an earned doctorate degree in Christian Counseling and is listed in the 2007 edition of Who’s Who Among Colleges and Universities.
Dr. Drayton has traveled and ministered extensively proclaiming the Gospel of Jesus Christ. Her travels included being guest speaker for "Worship on the Waters™" Women's Conference aboard the Carnival ship that sailed to Cozumel, Mexico. She has received numerous awards including her very recent 2010 Woman of the Year award sponsored by the South Carolina Georgtown District AME Church. She has served as TV hostess for a small television program and has also appeared on several television shows and conducted numerous live radio interviews.
She and her husband, Russell, have two sons, Justin and Nicholas. |
