MEET YOUR NEIGHBOR EVELYN MURRAY DRAYTON | GEORGETOWN
E velyn Murray Drayton, minister and Christian author, lives in the Plantersville community of Georgetown County and works with individuals to help them reach their full potential in economic and spiritual ways. She is married to Russell Drayton, and they have two sons, Justin Drayton, 17, and Nicholas Drayton, 14. She received a business administration degree from Morris College and a doctorate in Christian counseling from Cathedral Bible College in Myrtle Beach. Drayton came here from Manning in 1987 and later founded and now serves as president of Soul Winner Ministries.
I started in this because | I love all people and want to help them reach their God-given potential, preparing folks to "catch fish" but not catch it and cook it for them.
An interesting part of my job is | observing change in the lives of those with whom I've crossed paths.
