Evangelist Dr. Evelyn Murray Drayton

Evangelist Evelyn Murray Drayton was born in Mullins, South Carolina. After the early death of her mother, she was reared by her grandparents in Manning, SC. She overcame many obstacles that were targeted to, literally, destroy her life; but God manifested Himself to her as a Mighty Deliverer.

Evangelist Drayton is an ordained minister and Christian author of four published books:  I Had to Die Exposing Witchcraft in the Church, Silent Speaker, Feathered Wisdom, and Sweet Success After Bitter Defeat. In addition, she has written award-winning poetry.  She began her writing after an ordeal at her local church where her church leader attacked her through witchcraft and told her that he would bury her in 90 days if she exposed his undercover or covert witchcraft behavior. Her writing is an effort to inform others of her spiritual journey trials and triumphs.

Evangelist Drayton is president and founder of Evelyn Drayton Ministries, Inc. and also Soul Winner Ministries.  She is an excellent leader and has headed national and international ministries to help catapult them to the forefront. Her prolific words are soothing, but powerful, and have captured the hearts of many.

Sister Drayton is a graduate of Morris College in Sumter, South Carolina where she received a bachelor’s degree in Business Administration and graduated Magna Cum Laude.  She also matriculated at Erskine Theological Seminary and graduated from Cathedral Bible College in Myrtle Beach, South Carolina with an earned doctorate degree in Christian Counseling and is listed in the 2007 edition of Who’s Who Among Colleges and Universities.

Dr. Drayton has traveled and ministered extensively proclaiming the Gospel of Jesus Christ. Her travels included being guest speaker for "Worship on the Waters™" Women's Conference aboard the Carnival ship that sailed to Cozumel, Mexico.  The English Language Arts Department at Carvers Bay School awarded Mrs. Evelyn Drayton the 2006 Celebrate Literacy Award recognizing her contributions to literacy in the Carvers Bay communities.  She has served as TV hostess for a small television program and has also appeared on several television shows and conducted numerous live radio interviews.

She is available for preaching engagements, conferences, and workshops.

Dr. Drayton is a woman of character and integrity.  Her hobbies are reading, writing and sharing the Gospel with others through preaching and teaching others how to apply the Scriptures to their daily living. She is active in the Plantersville community of Georgetown, South Carolina where she and her husband, Russell, reside. Together they have two sons, Justin and Nicholas.
